OEM cd changer

right as some know all ive got is the radio and im realiy getting cheesed of with it now ,

I,ve seen a 1yr old cd changer out of a x5 for sale on ebay , and my Q is if i buy this i can still fit a ipod and keep both if i buy the connection from tom

I read it some where that someone did this but cant find it.

its my birthday soon so ice link for that and the spare cash in my paypal for the cd changer

Ive got the CD changer and am getting close to ripping it out to install the ice link. I think the only way to get steering wheel controls and display capabilities on the dash and nav is to replace the CD changer with the ice link.

So .... skip the CD changer and go straight to the icelink.

Just my .02 worth

Yes you can keep both, but you must by the trunk lead off Tom too, because we have different leads in the UK to the States. Speak to tome he will explian it a lot better than me.

Correct, we have a Source Selector that will allow both devices. I can only see needing this if you have NAV, since Business CD users can retain the single-CD slot on the radio.
