I have been thinking about buying one. Waiting for all the bugs to get shaken out of it. I have a GM5150 (purchased in January 2014) in my E46 and after a few firmware patches it is performing decently with iGo8.
They now have a US based distribution location in NJ and an eBay Store http://stores.ebay.com/eonon?_dmd=2&_nkw=D5166Z The PayPal and US based seller are somewhat comforting for possible return/refund issues. The D5166Z looks to be a very feature rich unit for a very attractive price. For me and my budget a Dynavin is a non-starter. Mike

I have this unit and am having the same trouble, no sound and also no LED light on the player - Eonon is clueless on how to get this working.
Here is the post I just submitted, hopefully we can all figure this out. http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...ayer-pics.html |

A fellow named Carlos is the Eonon rep here
E46Fanatics - View Profile: EononCarDVD and has helped coordinate group buys and troubleshooting and solutions for the E46 units Eonon makes. Maybe he can help you....... I'm holding off on an Eonon unit for my factory nav E53 until I feel better about all these issues. Sorry, but at nearly 2X the price the Dynavin N6, while receiving awesome reviews, is a non-starter for my budget. Mike

Hi Hollywood,
My understanding is that if you have factory nav and use a cable such as this http://www.ebay.com/itm/331280795197 you will go from the Eonon unit to the rear hatch floor with the cable to make the majority of the connections to the radio tuner box. A couple of minor connections are still made in the front dash (dimmer circuit, running lights on, etc.) Mike

I have the same car and same set up, and it won't work with what they are selling you. I'm in the process of using the second cable to power the amp, and the extension from Eonon to power the new 5166

i bought the cable direct from eonon and i took everything apart in the back of the truck yet nothing seems to plug in ANYWHERE. My plan now is to contact Eonon directly ( since thats who I purchased it from ) and see what they say . I have the 2 plugs that go into the back of the stock nav unit .
