Have you had a version of the Nav OS for High Nav systems (e.g. mk IV in X5) that allows automatic dynamic routing around traffic jams?
It only works with the MK4, the original V26 upgrade and a BM54 that was produced later than - i think - week 35 in the year 05. Mine is even newer and additionally supports MP3 Text in combination with the new BMW CD-changer (which I want to buy later this year...)

If you have a DVD drive you have a MKIV

Greetz,

This is strange-some have lost search and I have not. I can enter name by spelling and search works fine. Maybe is difference in burning or CD media that caused different info entered when reboot? I do not know enough this type of technology to know.

Maybe... on top of that, my Nav is running in USA mode and it seems that Obioban is still in Euro mode and we both have the same issue. I had redone this search for the last hour here and there with the same results.

Mine is in yards and miles so I guess mine is in european mode? Mine has the v26 beta and then this beta patch. I never did get "official" v26 OS update. Language choices on mine show English USA, E for Spanish, F for French. But since I am measuring in yards and miles with patch update am I in Euro or USA mode? Somewhat confusing. If I continue to have full function will keep but if I start getting overrun by bugs will reload v26 with my CD.

Saved from buying Alcohol 120% and wanted to give heads up to anyone in my position with trial period of Alcohol being up. You can download DVD Decrypter from the following website. Bob... your Nav is in Euro/GB mode once you loaded the beta patch. To change it to USA mode -and thus the distance in feet instead of yards- you have to take your car to the dealer for recoding.

I reverted to V26 and the search function came back; I will keep the Map in Perspective for the time being... I kind of getting used to seeing way more ahead of the road compared to the 2D maping.

I can confirm the same problem. POI Information Search by specific string no-longer works. I went back to v26.

Have you read official tester's message that about 60% of navis were destroyed with 26.09 software? Just read/translate Chaplin's messages:
