Toggle 3D should give you the option to toggle the Perspective mode....

whatever version i am running, i have Perspective Mode.
Travel Direction is always available.
i assume i'm running toggle 3d.

I couldn't get either of the Alcohol120% images to work - they both seemed to switch off the perspective mode.

I built one just using the navboot-toggle file placed into the V26 release disk image. Can you just place the navboot file for the Toggle 3D in your filestore and I will give it another go?

Hi Martin,

I was looking at the forums on bimmerboard, and noticed a post from Solihull, that said Tyre and himself were testing what they were calling V28, that allows BIG splash screens etc..and they would post it up soon.

I noticed in the screenshots he put up, that they had perspective view in full screen, and the menu had all 3 options listed "Perspective; Pointing North; Direction of Travel".

I am right in thinking that this is a brand new hacked version? Yet to be released?

Also can you calrify the toggle, and toggle3d differences? I installed toggle today, and it's great, but of course can only be switched to perspective from split screen mode. So with 3d toggle, can I toggle between 2D "Direction of Travel", and "Pointing North" by choosing the 2D menu option, and also toggle between 3D perspective "direction of travel" and 3d perspective "pointing north"..

P.S. I've sent nomad a few emails but he hasn't got back to me yet.. I desperately want to help out here. I'm a programmer myself, and given the correct OS9000 tools from Nomand, I'm sure I can help out.. I just can't figure out at the moment how to modify the disassembled file split from the navboot file..

I've looked at the navboot split files, and they're all in hex, so as far as I can see I need an OS9000 developer program to modify the files, resave them, and reinsert them back into the navboot file..

Cant imagine, how perspective pointing north mode looks like...

Tyre is using v26.09. I advised him to consider another version. I did not like the issues with v26.09 myself. I use the search function a LOT and wanted it back.

The new toggle 3D perspective is cool. You can have Perspective mode with map pointing north, OR in direction of travel

Correct. Toggle 3D has 4 modes

Map in Direction of travel 2D
Map pointing North 2D

Map in direction of travel 3D Perspective mode
Map pointing North 3D Perspective mode

They are chosen by selecting one of the two menu items in the split screen mode. Full screen WORKS for any 4 modes, but the menu items were not changed.
