Do you fish out of Twin Lakes and above the June Lakes loop? Love it there, big fish deep at the bottom of Lower Twin. Grew up for a while in Bishop and Mammoth.

Proclips USA makes a great mounting bracket for the Nuvi. My Nuvi is a little slow sometimes, barely noticeable unless I passed the turn, which has happened.

You can get a Garmin etrex series, like the etrex legend Cx.

Then add the steets software on to it, plus the car kit. You can put a 1GB card into it.

You'll then have voice guided navigation for the car and a "outdoor" GPS.
I have the US topo maps on mine which have trails etc that are on the USGS topo's. It works perfect.

I use a Nuvi in the 06 X3. MY 07 will have Nav in it when it gets here.

Just put the antena between the slats for the front air vent. It fits perfectly and is rather snug and still gets a signal.

Mine too has started to lag a little but only when initially connecting and picking up a signal. Anyone else have this?

Cant wait to read more about the newer ones!
