This is the incorrect step.

You should use a program such as UltraIso to change the files directly in the ISO image.

lupito, why is there a speed camera and speed camera europe option? The first option covers the UK as does the Europe option. I was trying to update the Europe cameras and the download on the GPS World site for Europe seems to have very few entries. Does anyone know why? I've replaced the UK file with the latest.

I've deleted the JPEG of the road and the screen loads faster. Also I've edited the LSC file to remove BMW SERVICE MOTORCYCLE and to move Parking and Petrol stations to the first screen so I don't have to scroll down.

On my 2006/2 disc - A line from Lupto's eng.LSC

TPD-GRP 70 104 105 551 557 7522 750 5540 7897

becomes

TPD-GRP 70 104 105 750 5540 7897 7522 551

True, however you can still use Nero to burn the ISO updated with UltraIso to DVD

I had one in the Icons folder CABECERA.JPG after using the wizard from Lupito's site. May be also called camera_splash.jpg from here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/richard...era_splash.jpg

ok so now i did this...

1. used ultraiso and created an iso of my dvd on to my pc.
2. extracted the iso on to my pc using ultraiso
3. copied the wizard to the location stated in the instructions and ran it replacing all the files.
4. deleted the wizard.
5. created iso of the modified extracted files using ultraiso.
6. burnt the modified iso to dvdr using dvddycryptor @ 2.4x

but it still doesn't work and i've tried with the ebay copy and my original.

any ideas??? i thought this was supposed to be easy.

thanks.

Which version of the DVD have you got? It only works with 2006/1 or 2006/2 and the wizard is specific to the DVD version.

How do you mean doesn't work? Do you not see the Speed camera menu on the screen?

i've got a 2006/1 high europe dvd original and a 2006/2 high europe dvd ebay "original" and neither work after running the wizard on them.

i doesn't do anything the nav screen just says something about no map dvd/cd available and goes no further but works fine with my original and ebay dvd's.

thanks.

I use Verbatim and Datawrite Classic DVD-R. What are you using? I think that may be the problem.

May be worth using Kprobe on the discs to look for errors too.
