If you select a POI catagory and perform a 'Search' for them, don't select one, just return back to the map, the POI's should then be displayed.

I'm pulling my hair off

Been trying to make this disc now for weeks. Im following Lupitos "wizard" and I have also tried Richards way. Nothing works??

Im doing the following.

1. Putting my origional 2006-02 High into the DVD drive.
2. Open Ultra iso and open my disc.
3. Creating a ISO image to my hard drive.
4. Exract my ISO file that I just created.
5. Copying Lupitos .exe file into: nccBeu_eu_20060126
6. Extract and replaces the files "clicking yes to all". Deletes the .exe file
7.Open Ultra ISO> open my ISO image that I created in step3.
8. Deletes the file nccBeu_eu_20060126
9. Adds my new created nccBeu_eu_20060126 file from step 6.
10. Saves the file as a DVD2006mod.iso
11. Open DVD decrypter
12. Writes the file to a DVD.
13. Goes out to my car to test it.
14. Screams a lot of really bad words since the sh"t didnt work........

I have been trying with DVD+ and DVD -, using Verbatim and Philips discs.
Burning at different speeds all with the same result. The funny thing as that I have made a copy
of my origional disc as a back-up and that one runs perfectly!!

Any ideas anyone.

Smile Dvd

Well, I have 2006-2 and all I do is,
1: copy to a sub-dir (Give it the same name as the DVD, it needs this when you make an image)
2: do the work you need to on this and then use Nero to copy it back, if you follow the advise on this link it will work, I have made 3 copys and have used DVD+RW to make sure I have got the work right, I then Burn to a Ridisc 8x DVD -R. all works fine, I have a copy with cameras on and I am working on POIs, as you have been told you can only see one set of POI's at a time. the link for the help is:- http://www.bmwnavaddpoi.co.uk/

Good luck

Try relacing the file (overwrite it) rather than deleting and then adding. This may change the position on the DVD which the Nav system may not like.

Thanks Dospromt.

I dont have Nero installed since that interfearce with my video editing software. Do you copy your DVD directly to the hard drive without making an iso image?

Wink Image

I agree with Richard1, but yes I just copy the contents over to the HDD and it always work 100%, as I said I use (as my DVD is new) DVD+RW to test before writing to a normal DVD.
