Everything works fine, thank you.

Three Questions:

1. How to keep the data up to date. Using Tom Tom data, POI Converter and asc2idxurl_mk4.exe will work that way? Left work is then no problem for me.

2. The data used in the wizard was created when, i mean wich date?

3. Thinking about enhancing the nav os. It's a compiled program isnt't it? What would we need to try to add missing features.

Best regards, Absolutely great work so far!!!

Yes, convert .ov2 to .asc with POI Converter and use Converter MK4.

Hi Lupito,
First of all, ,thanks for your great job but unfortunately it doesn't work for me even if I follow exactly your instructions (POInstallMK4.exe). Actually, when I insert the new DVD, the GPS system ask me to select a country but it's empty

Any idea?

Thx,
Averoez

@ lupito_ct:

So i will visit your webpage frequently :-) Planning to offer a newsletter?

Enhancement No.1 could be audio and message alerts when approaching a speed trap.

No 2. Some traps are only controlling one direction of a street. So display should only show a trap when controlling an area in driving direction.

No. 3. Street Adresses of the Traps in Database. So you can route to a trap and paint it with neon colors :-)

No. 4 Trap Icon should offer more information about the trap. Speed Limit, Dynamic or Traffic Lights. Different Trap icons.

The first option only can be possible if BMW update Nav OS.
The others options are customizable in .HTM files is not in .idx and .url, and the converter mk4 make a output of .idx and .url files only.

Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a free ISO file editor - done google search and the ones that have trial periods cap at 300mb.

Have got iso image onto harddrive and have converted the files but can't alter the iso image to reburn it.

Thought i'd ask before i pay for one!

cheers
dave

I am waiting to get a copy of 2006-2 before doing this mod looks great!

Lupito - do you know how difficult it would be to change the main colour scheme of the nav pages in the nav OS - instead of blue or black background to say green like Range Rover had in their MK3?

I don't have 2006-2, i would like to test in 2006-2 and check if this new version need modifications for working POI.

For change the background color it is in the .HTM files. It is easy.
