I don't remember having 3 POI on my V24, but I can't say that I really looked!

In any case, getting V24 to work with 3D would be more difficult than hacking V26/27/28 for multiple PIO i.m.h.o. and I don't think V24 supports new POI icons either!

let me put it this way, MKIV with v24 looks like it's written in basic on a commodore 64...

it only became usable with v26 IMHO

edit: for the fun of it, downgrade yours once to v24, you'll get what i mean

Wasn't v24 the one in 2D where the pointer moved to the edge of the screen and only then the map would scroll? :|

OK.

But generally speaking is it possible to identify and extract the piece of code within V24 which gives the opportunity to select 3 POI?
And than adopt it to V28 and place it into the V28 code.

I asume its all about decompile and afterwards compile the code properly, isn't it?

My daydreams are about having all the time the radars shown and additionally another POI.

Imho this should be the next target to achieve for our superior intellectual capacities within this forum.

Matt

Mk4 map rendering module can use up to 5 different POI types at the same time. But only one type used during map database request.

Nomad:

So your saying hard coding like you did with the Military Maps Icons POIson you can have 5 on screen at the time.
But using other things like PMN, you can add multiple but it will only query one at a time..

Really Really want to know what you Patch.exe actually does.
