Wont load software

I have a MKIII and am trying to update with v27 and it just tells me Cd rom in navi computer will be loaded.. thats it just sit there doing that????? thanks in advance

AAAHHHHH This is so frustrating all I want is a decent display unlike the crappy old school one that i have now... Help please

Hi, where did you get the disc? What is the software version you were at before the upgrade? Was it 3-1/63? That is the latest for MKIII. There have been no changes to the MKIII OS since version V22... so any update disc after V22 will not really do much for you.

Can you tell us what you expecting to see with the V27? MKIII display does not really have any visual updates like perspective mode, etc.

I have the really old one from 2000 and same with the map cd.. I just got the car and just want to update everything.. I was told i needed the key cd aswell so i downloaded that to but I cant get it to start the update on the computer itself???? Thanks for the welcome

How are you burning the disk? You don't just copy the files onto a blank CD-R, you have to use a program such as CloneCD to use the files you downloaded to make an exact image copy of the original.

Im using winRAR and ImgBurn that right?? copy at 1x... takes about 10 min to burn??
