cant eject the dvd out!!!
its happened once b4 but that solved it self and poped out When i press the eject button nothing happens, turn on the car and it says no dvd/map disc inserted. ne help guy/gals? cheers |

and you're sure there's a DVD in there? also, have you tried disconnecting the battery? i would try holding down the eject button with the key in position 2, position 1, and off. don't know if that makes a difference, but doesn't hurt to try.

lol yes there is a dvd in there since after leaving th car for a bit the dvd will work again.
it seems when i press the eject button there is a light clicking noise every 7 seconds |

Mine did this exact thing the other day at the dealer. They checked it out and said that it needed to be replaced. I found this on the forum.
Disconnect the DVD from it's power source. I took out the four screws to get to the power souce. There is a tool that the dealer had. Reconnect the power source to the DVD player and quickly hit the eject button. This will eject the disk. Once it came out, I was able to put in the new disk and it ejected it just fine after that. the prob is cant get to the back of it since its a mini cooper. i read ur tips. about pressing and holding 4 3 mins. hmm when i press the eject button, the light remains constant and does not flash
im confused |

Hi boxednfresh,
Don't worry I've had this happen to me a couple of times... Do the following and you will get your DVD out. Press and hold the eject button, for about 1 minute. Let go, and quickly press eject again. The DVD will come out... Grab it quick! Glenn |
