Frozen Navigation...help
This all started when I put an updated navtech disk in. When I try the old disc it does the same thing. Help Last edited by cowboynj; 08-09-2007 at 01:37 PM. Reason: typo |

The disc says 2001.1. I do not know what version of the nav. My vehicle is a 2001 4.4 that has the cheesy little nav screen. I have seen some of the posts with people trying to upgrade and it sounds too like too much trouble to me so I've touched nothing.

It's the genuine article given to me by a buddy who sells BMWs.

You should upgrade to 2-1/81, which was the last version produced for the Mk2 nav.
This may well solve all your problems. |

Thanks. Any idea how much that costs? Where do I find the upgrade data/instruction?
