Anyone else lost TMC functions AND / OR Assist?

Hello World.

I was playing arround with Navcoder a bit and now I'm in trouble;
I've lost the TMC functionality (Traffic Info and T.Info Plus) in the NAV, and BMW Assist in the main menu.

Anyone else that has experienced something similar fooling arround with their NAV units?

Kind regards

Sure you didn't just switch TMC off?

When the nav starts up fresh after having new software loaded, TMC might be switched off, I believe.

As for Assist, that can be enabled/disabled in NavCoder

Main problem is: THERE IS NO menues for TMC in "NAVIGATION" now!
Using the NAVIGATION menues to swithch on TMC in no longer possible since the "Traffic Info" and "T.Info Plus" is GONE!

Same goes for Assist; GONE and not coming back when trying to code it with "Navcoder". There is an error saying "parameter error" or somethin similar when comunicating with the Nav system. (When verifying the software flash...)

Any ideas?

I'm now trying to disconnent the battery for a while to see what happens, and then flash back with software that I know works 100% (unmodified v29)...

Hi again!

The above mentioned procedure helped to solve the problem partially. I now only miss the "ASSIST" functionality. The unit is back to "general" configuration with unknown VIN and defaults to a 7 series car... but the TMC (Traffic Information) menues is BACK!!!

The unit now runs a modified version of ver 29 (4-1/91) with custom menues, texts and graphics.

Will try some "Navcoding" when everything is back on-line to try to track down where it goes bananas...

Followups will be posted in the "Navcoder v 2.2.0" thread

Make sure Region<>USA. USA does not use TMC.

For any issues with NavCoder error messages, please send me the log file and a description of what happenes, making sure you tell me what car you have and what type of interface. Thanks.
