So which one do I need guys ?

Damn! It's Just arrived...

New BMW DVD p/n T1000-11912, which looked to me to be just what I needed to complement the v29 upgrade to the Mk IV system in my 06/03 X5 3.0d Sport.

Took out the 2002-02 DVD p/n T1000-5385 which is so useless to me right now, I'm using TomTomn on my phone.

So I put in the new DVD and system rejects it completely. Says 'please insert correct DVD'. Aaaargh!

The original system has 3D-Perspective maps (albeit with minimal info), but I don't know if it's a Professional or High. I just assumed that if I am currently running a -2 then I need to replace with a -2 only a newer year of course. Am I now right in thinking that the 'Professional' DVDs are only for newer cars with I-drive? And that though my original 2002-02 DVD doesn't say 'High' , that that;s what it is?

Before I waste even more money, can anyone help me be sure that I need T1000-11916 (which is the 'High' DVD).

Thanks in advance.

Kev.
