Want to upgrade MK4, but

Im not sure which version software I have and wanted to ask the pros here.

When I enter the settings menu this is what it says on the top

L:E14CR1 12.07.02 17:38

Im looking to upgrade to v29 but I need to know if this is safe to attempt before I mess up my unit.

just for info

1. bought this mk4 used
2. I think its a US version since it has the Emergency option and the settings are in miles not kilometers

I appreciate any help from you guys

Thanks
Ariel

You may have a test version of software loaded.

Insert V29 and upgrade to the latest 4-1/91

Then use NavCoder to change the region to the region of your choice (Europe, USA, etc)
