Thanks you KiwiJochen, but can you tell me if the ROVER / BMW (phillips) RDS Business radio/tuner had the cd changer connection, and if it did can you tell me the wiring pins connection colours and numbers please.

Yes, CD changer connection is standard on those radios
Google will reveal the wiring diagram for the BMW radio, I don't have it at hand at the moment.

I'm also looking for the pinouts of the alpine cd changer xqe 105560 from a rover 75 to plug it to my 2001 e39 bmw. anyone has done this before ?

the wiring of the cd changer is as follows:


1. yellow
2. black
3. red ( or pink )
4. white
5. green
6. blue_1
7. blue_2
8. brown

7 / Low Frequency Voltage Signal CD Changer Right
8-10 / No Connection

======= i guess this are the pins from the radio module .. and .. the following pins are from the alpine cd changer from that rover 75 ============


black - gnd
white - L-ch
blue - s. gnd
red/pink - R-ch
green - s. gnd
brown - bus +
yellow - batt
light blue - gnd
