I think most people would choose Option b

The majority of functions on Navcoder are pretty self-explanatory. I reckon most of the problems concern registering the libraries (I know I had an issue), but how much effort is it to

a) search the forum for answers
b) post a question here

Perhaps what would be useful instead of a manual would be to 'mouseover' the options and give a brief note as to what switching on/off that function will do etc....

Tool-Tip Text is already part of NavCoder - but you reminded me that i forgot to set them for the LCM dialog

So tooltip text is fixed and v2.3.1 uploaded just now :-)

I agree, more features - not a manual

Especially more LCM options

Jochen, two questions:

1) Would it be possible to add a function to change the sensitivity or delay in the "auto headlights on" function?

2) I used NavCoder (registered) to code my retrofit BT module to SES... works perfect, BUT: is there a way to change the "Passkey" or "Name" settings also?

Ronny
(PS: anyone interested in a very simple 2002 e39 sedan, SA620 --> SA644 retrofit description?)

Don't know... I don't have this info, I'd have to research further...

Yes there is, I never added it as I never though anyone would want to change the passkey

But I can see a reason to change the name... so I'll add this to my list of things 'to do'

Hi Jochen !

Great job...
+1 for the 'b' option !

Did you know the website of Alexander :
http://www.alextronic.de/bmw/project...info_ibus.html

GREAT information in this site !! May be helpful for your research !!

I'm looking for a MP3 interface that will display the ID3 / TAG on the instrument cluster, any idea ?

Cheers !

Another useful feature would be to adjust the sensitivity of the auto wipers. The dealer can do it, my latest M3 needs to have this done to make it like the last one.

Tagesfahrlicht...?

One of the "most wanted" here in Germany is to have the dimmed (!) high beam lights on all the time as long as the overall lights are off to enhance the visibility of the car w/o having to use the normal lights with all the many many bulbs coming on with them during the day. I'm not sure how you call this but in German it is called "Tagesfahrlicht".

I found a post in a German forum describing the bits to be changed for that.

Jochen, could NavCoder do such coding (and reverse of course)?

Ronny
PS: priority wise...this one would be HOT!!!
