nope =( i then looked in the back i SWEAR i thougt i read dvd on the navigation drive. but its a reg. one. and i cant seem to get perspective to work, and im thinking this is bc of the whole dvd thing??

3-1/63 is the last ever software version released for the Mk3 nav.

There is nothing newer available.

To get a faster nav and perspective view you need to swap out the Mk3 for a Mk4. Well worth the upgrade.

damn, ive seen the the range rover also uses the same model. will it work? and am i willing to pay 600-900$s for this unit!???!?!

It is a same unit in the rangerover, i think that it is coded so it thinks-knows that it is rovér, so i am not sure if and how bmw uppdates and bmw map speciffic pois would show, beside that it should work just fine.
Why not buy the one i recomended at the beggining
