and its MK3 but with the dvd reader. is there anyway i can upgrade this to the latest build?

When downloaded, unpack with winrar or similar soft, use img burn, alcohol 120% or other image writing software to burn the soft on to a cd, dont burn att max speed 4x is good, do not use cheap media it wont work.
If you want a custom splash or something else use navtweak (read the thread)

ok i got the mdf and mds file. what do i use to burn this? i tried clonecd, and ntohing. also. i need a link on the process on how to upgrade. i searched a link that had 40 pages! i cant read all of those damn things. help!

ok nevermind. i got it burned. now just need a step by step what to do after

Open the trunk leav open, open drivers dor leave open, turn key to 1 possition (accessories on) turn of stereo, take out map disc and insert sw cd.
Folow instructions on your nav screen.
DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION OFF DURING UPDATE PROCES !!!
