New iDrive Controller on the way...who knows more?
as you can see here: http://www.auto-treff.com/bmw/vb/sho...hreadid=208055 there is a new iDrive Controller on the way. That seems to have leaked via the newest BMW accessories configurator (available as DVD at dealer). People are saying that it comes along with a completely new CCC from Harman/Becker and will be introduced with the F01 in summer and for MY09 in september on all models. That would correspond with the BMW press release from yesterday that they bring a high-res display with unlimited real internet access and data flatrate for BMW models within 2008. Anybody has an idea or knows someone within BMW to give a little more info about that? Does it really start in september on all current iDrive-models, also 1 and 3 series? Greets

Um, that looks like one of those dumb after market MP3 player or Sat radio adapters.
Plus, that POS isn't even in a BMW.

, looks like a cheap remote control of no-name car-multimedia system . BMW has made too many mistakes recently (just my opinion) , to afford for another ones .
