I've reduced the size of the navboot file, and touch wood that seems to have fixed the problem, the navboot file (v31) is now smaller than the navboot in v29, and all seems well.

All I did was black out the huge mini splash screen and this was enough, but i also did the 3D pointers that are not used to blanks as well.

I'll run this and see what happens.

Thanks E5M1R and others for the replies.

It does not sound like it is a voice problem but something else, maybe the cd brand that you used for mod CD.
You do know that you can only upgrade, or downgrade software, so if you have v29, you would have to install v31 or v28, for the nav to accept the soft.

Just play it simple. do one thing at the time, you might wanna just ad the voice and still have english text first to se if it works and then take it further from there

Good Luck

I did that as well (only changed voice file) but still no luck Im also shanging software version so it does start reprogram the nav unit but stops telling me that the voice files are not valid.
So my question was ; did you only rename the Swedish voice file and then replaced the english? Or did you change the voice file verison as well?
I might have a non valid voice file but the file ending as the same and coming from a origional VDO disc.
