Can you please be more descriptive with your problem.

I have looked and NavCoder currently has CHECK_CONTROL_CRAZY=FALSE setting, which I have never changed.

If you describe your problem more maybe we may be able to help...

Most likely your radio is to old.
All your symptoms tie in with Martins description of an older version BM54 that does not support ID3 text.

What are the last 7 digits of your vehicle VIN number?
This is the serial number of your car and with it I can tell you exactly when the car was manufacturered.

i changed angeleye bulbs to leds (bougt from ebay), after i installed them my fm radio was not clear, CDC wasnīt working and "check control" didnīt save any info about errors. i donīt have pressure sensors on my wheels so i get the "TYRECONTROL INACTIVE" message after driving few miles wich goes away and i can see radiostations or cd track again, but with these leds installed it gave the message and it never went away. after i turn off the car it usually shows these messages but with leds it didnīt show anything. these LEDīs are from evil, DO NOT BUY THEM

now i have istalled my original bulbs back and everything works perfect!

worst spent 50$ ever

Thanks KiwiJochen, my VIN number is LY95781....I have tried to upgrade my MK3 with vrsion 31 and sine then I have killed my MK3 but have noticed that my audiotext is working with just he standard radio and no nav......now what can i do with my mk3 hav burnt the disk using mode 2....any ideas?

PS revived it by downgrading with v21 then back to v26 I guess there is no advantages upgrading to v31 as firmware is same version 3-163....but interesting that audiotext doesnt work with nav unit could it be programme issue?

Regards

hi chaps..

I have got the cable and paid for the software.. How long does it take to get the key e-mailed to me because i cant wait to have a go..

Also.. What about new versions? Do we have to pay again or can we just update the software?.

I generally check my emails at least 1 x per day, so the longest time to get the key is typically 24hrs, unless I am away over night

Key is valid for future versions too.

,

After later updates, POI's are stored on the Nav Disk it self and not in MK IV witch was the case with previous versions.
If you get your self Map Disk that is newer it will have POI (it has to be a BMW disk, and not a VDO or CarIn, since POI's are not fully comatible)

I belive it has to be newer then 2003, i might be wrong on that one
