It doesn't change language with the navi.
I dont know what BT module you have the one that is fitted in my 525-03 doeas actually change language with the nav but you have to change language and then turn the ignition off. First when you turn it on again it should have changed the language too. Found this out after changing the French menues into Swedish with nawtweak, was going to makea call but couldnt since she was babbeling in french........

Just a little problem still.
When I change the navi-language to dutch, my bluetooth goes to German.
There doesn't seem to be a solution to keep the bluetooth in english.
Probably the "cars" 1 language is German, so when the navi is in a language that isn't one of the standard languages, the bluetooth goes to german. Is there a way to programm the car in a way that it goes to english.

Thnx

REplace English with Your language, that way you wil have nav text and voice in your language, while rest of the car is in english bluetooth and so on

Nope. doesn't work either.
I coded my nav Eng ger fra.
Put my nav in english, so ses was english
Then coded dutch german french. As soon as i put my navi in dutch, ses was back to german.
I may have to code my car to english with carsoft.
That's what I'm going to try next.

German is default language when a module cannot support the language you have requested

US and Imperial Gallons and Accept screen

I'm confused about what happens when setting Nav to U.S. vs. other regions, regarding US gallons and Imperial gallons. Mine is a US E39 with Mk4, and it doesn't show the Accept screen but does calculate consumption in US gallons. It has gone into Imperial gallon mode and lost the Aux Vent option after S/W downgrade or upgrade, but disconnecting the battery briefly restores it to the hybrid Euro mode with US gallons and Aux vent option but no Accept screen.

So if NavCoder sets the region to US, then it should regain the annoying Accept screen, and will compute in US gallons. Then if I put it into Europe or Canada region, will the Accept screen disappear, but it will also go into imperial gallon mode? Is pulling battery power or fuses after it's in Euro mode the only way to get it into the hybrid Euro mode in which there's no Accept screen but it uses US gallons?

(In both the Imperial and US Euro modes, it displays yards rather than feet, and that is not a problem.)

Thanks

The nav has 2 x settings:

Region
Units

NavCoder can set the region, which also then predefines the available units
You can set the units in the Settings menu

Thats all.
