Roy: you need new glasses :-)

That's the same GPS receiver module as fitted to the Mk3 and Mk4. Physically identical.

I am 99% sure it will work.

At $45, I would buy it and try it.

Tell him nicely that you will pay all the postage.

Look up postage rates for standard airmail (not international courier!) on the USPS website and calculate the cost. Show him the cost and tell him you'll pay it.

This is the approach I always took and it always worked.

And anyway, how would he know what "affordable" means to you - you might be a millionaire driving a gold-plated car .....

The item you wanted to buy did not sell. His ad said he had 6 and when I looked at purchases it said none. He must still have them. He also said in the ad that he would give a price for shipping international. What Gives Here?? I will contact him for you if that is the item you are sure you need. Let me know [email protected] . Do you know Cliff Williams at spectacle-shop.com? I think he is near Glasgow and is on the boards, at least he is on bimmerboard. Are you near him?

Hi Roy ,If you read his ad for shipping to other countries he does not ship USPS, his standard carrier is UPS standard ground. and he does not except paypal for international orders, they do this at there own discretion.

Get a friendly fellow X5world member in the US to buy it, then arrange for the X5world member to send it to Scotland.
