problems with splash screen V31
It worked in my MK4 and now i have V31 on it. Now i want to change the Splash Screen and i copied the complete cd in a folder. Then i modified the navboot with navtweak. I burned it with Nero(Mode2 and ISO) but my MK4 says it is a wrong CD. where is the problem ? |

If you have alredy v31 in your navi you should make downgrade to any previous version..... otherwise nothing would be updated
Make the downgrade and then upgrade with customized version! Good luck! |

One more thing - if your navi says "wrong CD" means it can not read this disk...... use lower speed for burning CD and make surface check!

Get hold of a program like ultraISO or superiso and just extract the navboot file, then mod, then replace/overwrite, then write, then burn (using imgburn).
As scuba says, you will need to downgrade then re-upgrade, you should of done the mods before you updated really. HTH

There is one more way - change the version of navi soft in specific files (read the forum carefully) - in this case downgrading is not necessary.....
But I think downgrading is more easy! |
