Ash, what system are you running Mk3 Mk4 or other?? what version software?
Any mods to the system?
Do you have audio for other purposes e.g music, voice recognition??

I'm running a MK 4..

I have sound for everything else (music, voice recognition)

I have the latest version on software (V31) with splash screen mod

I have the latest 2008-2 with speed camera database map disk..

Hope this helps a bit..

Thanks

ASH

did you modify the V31 at all apart from the splash? eg UK/USA voice mods not that you would want the US voice.
Have you tried an older SW version if you have one, see if you have voices with that.
I understand there may be some problems with some versions of V31.

Ash, have a look at the TP setting on the radio module (it may be set too low), also have a look at the back of the radio module (one of the small 10/12 pin plugs) that plug into the radio module.

Have you added any sort of AUX/iPod connection?

I was looking at the dice silverline as you get id3 text on the display and it's fairly cheapish?
