First off I have a 2005 mk4 as follows: SW 4-1/50. Everything was working fine when I began the update. I followed the instructions and burned off the first copy of the v32 software using ImgBurn. However, I burned it at 10x, but it seemed to burn just fine. Also the image copy I downloaded was Mode1. I followed the instructions and got the update screen. Thinking it was the Mode1 problem/10x burning problem, I downloaded the last link of the Mode 2 v32 image in this post and forced ImgBurn to burn at 2x. I loaded it in the player but this time no updating screen appeared. However, the orange light solidly turned on for some time then turned out. After about 10 minutes nothing else happened. The drive stopped making noise. Also the power led on the dvd unit doesn't come on no matter if I put a disc in or not. PLEASE help ASAP! I live in SD if anyone has a proper disc as evidently I don't know how to burn it correctly. I am willing to buy the 10 buck disc from the dealer but they said they only had one for the mk 3 and it was 36 bucks? I just wanted the newer perspective view mode! Please help. Thanks in advance!
