Guys, I tired updating mine MkVI with the v32 on here, but interrupted the update and now there is no SatNav option on the menu screen. How can I restore this? I heard about downgrading versions, but cannot find an older version to download. Help.

Fixed by downgrading to v31. Now just need to update to v.32

Hi guys,

I've done many V32 Updates on the MK4s with the 16:9 screen.

Now I have a friend with the small radio-navigation system.
Looks like that:

In the trunk there is an ordinary MK4 computer. Can I update this kind of Satnav with the ordinary V32 CD? If yes, anything special about it, something to take care of? And does it make sense - what new features will you get on that small arrow-navigation-system?

Thanks in advance

Don't see why not. As far as features are concerned, it really depends on how old the current operating system is. At some point during the lifecycle they improved route mapping, so that would be at least one benefit, again assuming the existing firmware predates those kind of updates.
