Okey...

Then it makes sense..:

I guess i would like to switch the cluster eventually.. Probably the easiest way.?

I need to read a bit before i get into that though.. Seemes like ther need to be some coding done when inserting the new cluster..

Ill try to get up to date by readig a bit..

But the english language part is something id like to get done straight away..
I can do this with the way everything is set up now, right.??

Where can i find more info about this.?

Look for NavTweak and google for how to use it.

With NavTweak you can edit the OS image, and copy the Englsih text to the German text.

Ive read a bit about navtweak and getting the sense of it.. need to check a bit more, but where can i find the OS files.??

The ones to edit..? And then put back in the nav..? If i understand it right, i have to edit some files using navtweak, burn them in a certain way with navtweak and then boot the nav with the cd in.?

Thanks.

The OS files are on the OS disc.

Get the OS disc and browse for the files

Post #35 of the NavTweak thread clearly states you edit the NAVBOOT which is here:
V_2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\app_sw\

Ekvals has mk3 (see it on the linked pics), so he has to modify the usw_load file in the following folders:
Mk3\0103\BMWC01S\app_sw\
Mk3\0116\BMWC01S\app_sw\
Mk3\0127\BMWC01S\app_sw\

Tip: the folders represent the HW version of the nav

My Mk3, and I believe most Mk3s, are HW version 0116.
You can read the HW version in the Service Menu

So you only need to modifiy the usw_load in the 0116 directory structure.
