Work this sound notification in US version car too?

In my X5 European version works it well, but when we try install it to my friend´s X5 (car: US verison + navi map: Europe), software upgrade managed but cameras is not visible and no sound.

Yes, it should.
You need to make sure that the USA voice file is modded with the alert message to get the alert, and the map disc must have the POISion patch and camera DB loaded too.

You just made it work with the EU OS and Map discs not USA OS and Map discs.

1. I upgraded my and friend´s car with same CD with v.32 (for voice modified) software.
2. Use same map DVD (for voice modified).

- in my car I see cameras and hear the voice attention
- in his car don´t see cameras and don´t hear voice

And next difference is, in menu at TMC is OFF and it´s no way go ON.

On navs confirgured for Region=USA, the TMC function is disabled.

No, this will not work, the navboot is modded for the POI on screen AND the the voice is modded (1st voice in language menu) for an EU car only.

You have loaded the EU car with an EU patched POISon and navboot mods = correct and working.

You need to mod the USA voice files as well for this to work.

Again no, the map disc is modded so that the POI DB is preloaded into the carindb file,the map disc does not have the voice files on; the OS does.

SO NOT working, as not all the patches are done and working for a USA coded car.

Your car = EU coded, first language is correct, voice patched, EU Map patched = all correct, working.

This car US coded and the voice file is not the 1st lang in the menu, so the voice file is not patched with the alert sound = no working...

For the POISon mods to work you need both OS and MAP to be patched and all the voice files (in the correct languages) to be also patched correctly.

You also need to make sure that the new patched voice files do actually get reloaded into the nav memory (make a new 0507 dir).

USA coded cars will not work for TMC, as jocken says, you need to recode the cars nav/radio to EU spec.

- All voice files I have in 0507 dir.

- I have patched navboot like for Europe

But I don´t know how patch voice files, OS or MAP for US car?

Make sure the voice modification is present on all languages in use - if you modified GB, and he is using US, you won't hear the sound notification...

And don´t change the language-file, which got nothing to say, when you change the language-file by selecting "poi-warn" off.
the others language must bee a copy from your original-voice-file and renamed, but get the change #8 and #9 to inform you.
