installing mk 3 into existing system

Hi all Gotta a great site been checking it out full of great info, need help though.

Have a 2001 delivered 4.4 black with beige interior (2000/10 manufacture date) with 4;3 screen tv tuner, 6 cd shuffle.

want to install 16;9 monitor (purchased) mk 3 (purchased)

where do i plug it into? does it use existing plugs from new loom ? is there any reprogramming required ?

I ask this as i thought it was a matter of upgrade screen(seen info on site very informative) but then cant find info for connecting mk3 to sat antenna (i know to put it under rear spoiler) and connecting to screen (bought wiring loom from bm 800 mm long so i assume it runs to something in close proximatey)

if you guys could help i would be very happy !!!!!!!

thanks everyone what a great site you have here !!!!!!!

I am assuming that the vehicle came with the TV option but not the sat nav. Check and see if there are a blue and purple connector in the left rear electronics bay area. That is where the nav drive would be mounted and connected (and where the antenna will plug into the nav drive unit)

That's the main loom you need

The sat nav unit is mounted in the boot - you may need the mounting bracket.

The wiring loom goes between nav computer (blue/purple plugs) and video module (white plug) and the loom connection for power (black connector)

Video module is in the spare wheel well.

PM me you email address and I'll send you all the instructions you need. Retrofitting the Mk3 nav is really easy in your car.
