OK - another stupid question. Do I have to go to dealer to code the car to recognize I have nav?

what would i notice if this hasn't been done yet.. i guess i'm not sure what the full experience should bring with this coded... I'm heading to dealer soon so i'm asking.

Without coding you won't be able to set time and date and possibly won't be able to change language

OK. I can set time and date etc.

I'll get it coded. Wonder if BMW will know what i'm talking about lol.

also - when it first booted up i was able to enter a "code" - and i did, now it's grayed out though.
