Pinouts from the Nav Screen

Hey

I'm pretty sure I've seen this somewhere, but can't foe the life of me find them now! Haven't been here for quite sometime so the head is a little rusty!

I'm looking for the pinouts from the back of the nav screen, There's 3 or 4 connectors there as far as i remember.

I'm trying to figure out why i'm getting no sound out the right side (front + rear). I have a E46 330ci, but bear in mind that it is UK spec so there so no amp what so ever here (unlike the US spec cars). The speakers are fine (tried swapping the outputs over on the BM54 radio module). Now before I go and buy myself a new radio module (I'm assuming this is what is not working), just need to make sure there is no audio outputs at the module on the nav screen.

In the meantime I'm gonna ask around to see if I can borrow someones BM54 and nav screen to swap and see...

cheers
Kam

The nav screen only provides tape or CD audio to the radio module

All audio sources are switched by the radio module and then amplifier by the amplifier (if fitted)

Does your fault exist on ALL audio sources?
(Radio, Tape, CD, CD-changer, Nav voice, TV, Telephone) ??

If so, the fault MUST lie in the Radio module, the wiring from radio module to amplifier, or the amplifier.

Yes the fault is on all audio sources. I don't have an amp in my car so as you say the fault must be in the radio module... I'll check this if possible by changing with someone else's module. I don't wanna go to the expense of buying one only to find out it was something else...

Thanks for the reply, it narrows it down atleast.

That would be great, anything to save a few quid at the moment!

Just PM them to me (or put them up here if he's ok with an open endorsement)

cheers
