NOT ABLE TO UPGRADE SOFTWARE

Hello guys
I'm one of many who benefited greatly from this forum , I've been reading and learning for the last few weeks
I faced a problem and i want your help if possible
I bought a 2005/2006 X5 (e53) 4.8is GCC specifications with everything possible as an option including professional navigation system .
I was fascinated with the ( 3D PERSPECTIVE ) View that i saw in this forum and in other forums too , i reviewed many sites to obtain this feature and came into conclusion that it is possible only after upgrading the navigation software .
Long story short , my navigation software is 4-1/50 , which ( i think ) means that i have
1- MKIV ( it reads DVD for sure )
2- V 25 software
So i downloaded the v29 , v29i , v32 , v32 with night mode and tried upgrading myself .
The upgrade FAILED every time
The messages i had were
1- error : can't read map CD/DVD ( although i was using the software CD/DVD )
2- No Map CD/DVD found .

I tried using CD or DVD , used ImgBurn and UltraISO , Used X1 speed and MAX speed, upgraded with system running or started from ignition OFF but never managed to get the upgrade software to load .
NOW
- what is wrong ?
- why can't i do something that everybody makes it sound as an easy job ?
- do i need to upgrade to another version before ?
- are there any DETAILED steps that i should follow?

I'll appreciate your reply
cheers from Bahrain

You have not burnt the map OS disc properly.

Remember: you have to create a disc from the ISO image file.
You don't just copy the ISO file to the disc.

Alternatively: you may have a dead CD laser, in that case burn the ISO onto a DVD and load from DVD.

Did you inspect the IMGBURN MODE/FORM settings and burn the image at the lowest supported speed of your burner? Did you try both CD and DVD based medium?

Use the lowest supported speed of the empty CD, not the burner!
