this is what i need to do , YouTube - BMW Navigation - Fixing Crashed MK3
im getting the v32 from the dealer today ,

my mk3 was at 3-1/63 which is after v22.
so i need something before v22 to downgrade and comeback to v32 right ?

note :

New added features in Version 22(since V21)
· Split screen. (Radio and nav or map and nav)
· The screen brightness is much better and can be seen through polarized sunglasses.
· The white lines mapping your route to a destination disappear after you reach your destination.

my white lines wasnt disappearing when i reach my destination before the carsh

whole day today i was trying to find v17 which i wasnt able to . anyof you have any link to a version under 22 ?

Thank you guys

why is it stuck ? What did u do to it and it got stuck ?
When mine got stuck, i pressed the eject button for 3 minutes and leave it and press it real quick 1 more time. That should eject the cd.
Did u try to update the software ?

press it for 3 mins and release it and press it real quick 1 more time for 1 sec.
that 3 mins resets the nav , that 1 sec press to get the CD back.
Try it

The method for removing a stuck disk is posted on this forum somewhere, did you search for it? You take off the top loosen the eject motor and turn a small gear with your finger tip to eject the disc. Not hard. I found the link, here it is.

roy in GA -

thanks so much!!!

i will try all 3 ... hopefully, i won't have to attempt the 3rd solution.

as for the first one, i didn't have my keys in the ignition while i was holding the button down for 3 mins. my coolant hose fell off and all of the coolant leaked so it's in the shop a 3rd time for the same leak! thanks again
