You have access to service menu
Press MENU, select Settings
Then press and hold MENU and wait, Service Menu will appear

TV tuner is standard fitting in some markets (Europe, Japan, Australia), and optional in other markets (USA). Assuming Oregon is in the USA, then likely the TV tuner is not fitted to your car.

To check: do you see TELEVISION as an option in the main menu?
If not = not fitted.

Of Course Oregon is in the US, You havent heard of OREGON? I mean come on, our wonderful college football team has been in the news lately...im supprised you dont know where oregon is. =)

Yes, found the "Service menu" post and was able to get in there in turn it on, FYI, On my system the menu called it "perspective" and when you enable it on the map screen it also says "perspective", but it works great! Thank you for the help on that.

Now, how do I get the "Night Mode" put in there? I downloaded it from the site you suggested and its only a few files, not an ISO like the V32 firmware.

Again, thanks for all the support

Dave

A small town with 3148 people:
"Oregon is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,148 at the 2000 census. The Village of Oregon is located mostly within the town."

I'll add it to my list of known small villages....

Night View is a hacked OS. It changes the map colours and some text.
Install it as you would a normal OS.
If the download was not a full OS, then ask the author what he intended with his incomplete download....

Tip: author is NOT me!!

Newest offiial version displays as 4-1/00

so you likely have a hacked version, as the version number is higher than what BMW ever released
