i ask to bmw dealer for how to change the language and the answer was to change the mk4 unit for 650 euros (no good solution) :P

i have also reed about navcoder ccfj1 but he need a lot of skill to use it and cables, laptop to connect to the car. etc..so i do not think that is the best solution for me.

also about the V32 ? whene i install it to 4:3 mk4 the logo lose the resolution and stretch it ..

can i use the same version but change the dimensions of the logo? if yes what is the dimensions for 4:3 aspect ratio?

thanks again!

Your Dealer is WRONG.

The Dealer programs the languages for the car based on his market.
Just like he programs the Car-Key-Memory according to your wishes.

He simply uses DIS or GT1 and sets the desired 3 x languages you want.

then, when instructed by the nav computer, the dealer inserts the OS disc so that the new languages can be loaded.

Remember, the systems in these cars are now over a decade old, so many dealers have forgotten how to do the initial vehicle configuration (that they used to do years and years ago..)
