OEM Ipod adapter to IPod\Iphone Cable Pinout

Hello,

I got an OEM Ipod interface adapter from scrap and it was fitted in X3 2008, the adapter HW is 3.0 and SW is 3.0 and im trying to connect it to my 330i 2003 with MKIV and cd changer

i maneged to find the installation document and the owners manual but the main problem im facing that the retrofit is missing the IPod connector located in the glove box, so idid alot of search on the internet and it appears the name of the connector is 8-pin Din connector

but i couldnt find the pinout or diagram or any diy , can any one plz help!!

What's the p/n of the cable you've got or better yet, what's the p/n of the kit from which it came?

Thx 4 reply the kit I have is missing the iPod cable and the p/n is
65 11 0 035 962 sw 3.0 hw3.0 I beleave this cable comes standard 4 all iPod enterfaces and from the iPod pinout sources I found they say there should a spacific resistor 500oh on the cable it self for enabling the serial communication between iPod and the adapter also a 12v suply wire should be connected

sadly I still need the pinout diagram hopping someone have it and share this info

If the installation instructions don't have the pinout then I don't know how you are going to get them. BTW, the kit is not compatible with a CD changer keep in mind. There are 2 cables in the kit, and the instructions list them both. Why don't you just order the missing cable from the dealer?

The installation document only have the pin out for the radio unit and I did called the dealer and the price 4 the cable alone is 95$ !! I think I should rename the dealer to stealer!
