Ok then lets assume I want to have a non oem dvb-t tuner with mpeg4 and connect to AV IN ... anyone done this with success? and actually have specific parts to show etc.

I've not done it myself but was thinking along them lines, I may well piggy back the dvt tuner inside the OEM analogue tuner case and solder the inputs to the blue/white plugs on the inside so that I don't have another box in the boot, All I would need to do then is pass the remote and antenna out.

That should be easy enough.

yeah, but I really wanna see a working system! I am an expert in buying something and then it wasnt the right items/solution !


But that idea of builing it into the OEM box is actually great!

Then I needed the tuner 12v of corz and then builtin -- setup a IR "eye and that should be it?

I will follow you once you have been guinei pig lol

Not true. After market integrated tuner modules exists. Some guys in Germany have them. Google is your friend.

find what is available in the MPEG4 world first. Some, but not many.

Got a link mate, google throws up no DVT tuners other the OEM.

That seems a cool product, looks like it needs the OEM analouge tuner connected though.

It's not cheap either.
