Is your nav drive CD or DVD based? It sounds like you have a very old version of the OS.

The oldest cross reference I have is...

4-1/12 = v20.1

So if you have 4-1/00, it must be v19 or earlier. But I think it was v27 which has the auto accept after 8 seconds.

Oh so then you should be able to update the Nav OS without a problem.

There is a v32 out for the nav software. Look at the sticky at the top of this forum. Don't know if it will solve your problem (which has to be really frustrating), but it might.

I have a Mk4 with V32 and it STILL displays the warning screen. Don't think it goes away on it's own, haven't tried that yet. Make sure you are pressing the right button!

Yeah they never got rid of the warning screen. They just auto clear it after about 7 or 8 seconds. At least that's the way it started working when I upgraded to V27. Not sure about the newer versions.

This guy on the Gold Coast in Qld did mine, he sent me 2 disc's marked 1 & 2, very easy to follow. I also selected a personalised start up screen at the same time.

I got a really cool screen now & no "Accept" page!

I also bought the camera enabled 2010 maps for Australia & New Zealand, I was surprised just how many cameras there are hidden around the place!?!

I just looked at the website again & see that he is doing more cars now...

I just clicked that link and I thats really messed up that hes charging all that money for a nav update disc. I havent been able to put an ///M logo on my MKIII yet and Ive been trying for a month now because I dont think Im making the cd correctly. I cant justify paying $125 for a cd that everyone on here is making for free.

Its funny, I have the v32 on disc that I made for my buddies MKIV and Ive updated over 30 cars for FREE with that disc. Gave them 3d view and the ///M logo and I cant get the ///M logo on my own car
