Question Any other versions expected to come out?

Like the title says, any other firmware versions expected to come out? I know that the MKIVs have been out of production for some time. Do you think BMW will release a V33?

Its called windows 7

Think of the navi as a computer... Think of all of the different firmware versions as windows versions (windows 95, winsows me, windows xp, etc) ..

Nice try though.. Ill give you an "e" for effort on that one.

BMW have stopped development of the firmware for the mk4 now, this was confirmed by my local dealership.

V32 is the latest and last.

Given that the Mk4 is no linger fitted to any current production vehicles, why would BMW still want to spend money on development?

Every car and component reaches an "end of production" and the Mk4 is definitely there

Sure, you can still purchase new units and spares and service will be around for many years - BMW have to do that - but ongoing expensive software development has stopped.

If BMW stopped MK4 development they should publish the Nav Source Code
