Question Mk3 unit is not shutting down when the car is off

Hello everyone,

It's been three years since I resolved this same problem with my mk3 nav unit and now it is back again.

MY nav system works fine with the exception that it is not shutting down when the car is turned off, slowly draining the battery. Last time I had this problem I simply downgraded the software to V17.1 and then upgraded it back to V28, however this time around this solution is not working. I've tried it several times now.

Does anyone have any suggestions? KiwiJochen, I know you are the expert here Do you have any ideas???

Thanks in advance
