Next generation Nav ??
Does anybody know if a next generation nav system is coming out in the next 6 months with new features? (probably touch screen).
The reason I ask is I am planning to retrofit my May-05 X5 3.0i with nav system. I am thinking if there is a new version/model coming out soon why not wait for it?

Any input appreciated!

BMW has a few different NAV's, So the uestion is, will they have a new one out that will work with the X3. The new X5 will have a new NAV system, but it won't work in the old X5.

So the answer to your question is, no one knows.

...a new one, bfore the next generation (E70) is not available. Actual the latest hardware/software: MK4 SW 1-60.
