Latest map DVD for MK 4

I am a newbe to the mk4 as I just switched out my MK3 for a mk4. Dumb question so excuse me but what is the latest DVD map disk will work with the mk4? I see the tomtom disk but it says it is only for in dash Nav systems. I though thought I read sometime about a high map disk.

even though BMW is using one of the biggest map providers, the BMW disks are proproetary enough that you need the BMW maps... the latest and greatest DVD set of 2 disks (2012 edition) is sold for $200 by a dealer... or... check ebay - might not be the original though...

is your OS the latest? should be 4-1/00 in the top right corner of the SETTINGS menu...
