Dynavin appears to be a popular upgrade for those with DSP.

If all you want is new maps and firmware, there are plenty of sources.

OK so do we have anybody who's used the Dynavin
upgrade for navigation and
I believe it also enhances
Your stereo system too. What other options are there Pioneer? Does Sony have anything? Anybody know about this? Thanks. I just got the 2005 4.8is
and it seems pretty antiquated as for as the navigation of course.

My NAV screen has weird streaks across it that are like horizontal smears, about twenty total. I assume I need a new capacitor or something or a new screen. Any ideas? 2005 X5 4.8is.

I currently have the Dynavin N6 setup in my M5. I love it. Integration with the DSP is good, Navigation is IGO and is much better than the stock nav. I plan on adding the same unit to my 4.8is this spring.
