Sorry to read about your problems, Juan. I, too, am in the kidney stone club. Luckily, at this point, i've only had one every couple years and they've been pretty small. But, if somebody hasn't seen one, even the small ones are generally covered in spurs. think about the things that stick to your socks when you walk through a tall wild grass. Imagine passing one of those through your wang.
My dad, on the other hand, has them really bad. He had his worst outbreak before lasers were used to break them up. He has a scar that runs from his belly button to the middle of his back. He gets a new one every 2 or 3 months that puts him in bed for a good 3 days. You and he are so lucky that the technology has improved to dissolve them. But, if you happened to see the episode of Deadwood 2 weeks ago, then you saw what it used be like and you'd probably choose death over passing a big one. I'm just hoping my low salt diet will hold them off for me for a while.

After a trip to the emergency room, a CT Scan, and some mophine, I am laying in bed "comfortably." They found a stone lodged in each urethra -- one of them about half inch long. There are also several IN the kidneys.
Will be going in tomorrow for surgery. In layman terms, they'll stick a stent up my member, and fish them out -- though the larger one may have to be blasted with lasers. They can't do that ultrasound blast thing because they are in the pelvic region, and it would not work.
Fun, fun, fun... :p
