Stones...
Of the kidney type. :(
Have had them all my life, so I am used to them. The colics I felt this morning were unbearable. After a trip to the emergency room, a CT Scan, and some mophine, I am laying in bed "comfortably." They found a stone lodged in each urethra -- one of them about half inch long. There are also several IN the kidneys. Will be going in tomorrow for surgery. In layman terms, they'll stick a stent up my member, and fish them out -- though the larger one may have to be blasted with lasers. They can't do that ultrasound blast thing because they are in the pelvic region, and it would not work. Fun, fun, fun... :p Juan |
I've got a gospel song here called "Can I Hurl This Stone?". I'll give it a spin in thy honor. :D Speedy resolution and recovery, Juan.

Godspeed, Juan! I wish you a smooth and safe passage.

I'm feeling your pain just reading your description, Juan. Bring on the morphine
Hope everything goes fine with the surgery. And they better have WiFi there in the hospital so that you can stay connected to everything happening here :D |
Ouch... My friend's mom has had kidney stone operations. Good luck!

Good luck Juan - ugh.
Speedy recover to you. |
