Car and Driver all the way, baby. Been a reader and subscriber for more than 20 years. That's the best automotive magazine out there.
Also, I can't believe the VW Beetle is not on that list. Juan |

The NSX debuted so much major technology. It's also one of the most under estimated vehicles ever made. I'm glad to see it make the list  .

While I think it's a fantastic vehicle, I don't see how the Boxter made this list. Any ideas?

I guess you're right. It debuted soon after WWII, but it was still being made -- in Mexico, I believe -- until just a few years ago.

Acura NSX - OK (popular Japanese supercar)
BMW M3 - OK BMW M5 - OK Chevrolet Corvette C6Z06 - OK Chrysler 300C - OK (heritage thing) Chrysler Minivan - OK (cultural thing) Ferrari F40 - OK (in like 10 movies) Ferrari F430 - NO WAY (did they even make a single production car?) Honda Accord - OK (family best seller) Honda Civic - OK (with some many on the road with fartcans, who can forget?) Jeep Cherokee - NO WAY (legendary as it may be, it's the Grand Cherokee that should be here) Lexus LS400 - NO WAY (this achieved nothing that the Germans hadn't already done) Mazda Miata - OK (cheap RWD roadster, I can buy that) Mini Cooper S - OK (re-invention of a classic) Mercedes-Benz 300E - NO WAY (I don't see the significance here) Porsche Boxster - NO WAY (if we must have any squashed-boat-like creatures, at least let it be their new Pepper, for breaking tradition) Nissan 300ZX Turbo - OK Porsche 911 - NO WAY (this thing has been around for very long, I don't see what special event put it here) Volkswagen GTI - OK (affordable high quality fast hatchback with a VR6) Subaru Imprezza WRX - OK (again, affordable plastic, ugly creation that can however do 5 second runs to 60) |
