I feel the same way you do, but you're liable to get mobbed or shot, particularly since Mexicans make up a majority of that town, so just make sure to bring full body armor and an AK. Personally, and no offense to anyone, but if they don't like it here, then leave. No one is asking them to stay here.

I can appreciate the fact that those students are proud of their Mexican heritage, but what they're doing is an insult to U.S. and it's citizens. I know it's a freedom of expression, but I don't think they would like it too much if someone was in their country, put the U.S. flag above theirs and turned theirs upside down. Many people have a misunderstanding as to what it means to be proud of your heritage. It means you celebrate the uniqueness of your culture, not how much better you feel your culture is compared to another. They are suppose to be positive messages, not negative ones. That's how I feel when I see something like this. A positive message would make you want to be happy for them, not want to get into a confrontation with them. I'm sure this action is because of the whole immigration issue, but that's an issue that I won't go into. OK, got that off my chest, back to work.

I guess he is amused because he is not US citizen. Need clarification.

Maybe he's amused in a sarcastic way. Watching all this unfold and knowing full well no one is going to do anything about it. Example in our neck of the woods there's a Pizza place ( Amici's East Coast Pizzeria - Dublin, CA, 94568) It has a sign that says "We will be closed may 1st out of respect for our workers.(Something close to that) As I have said before this is not going to go away. Sooner or later no matter what side of the fence you are on it's gonna get cha. But people are ignoring the issue for what ever reason. I believe it's Complacency and apathy. In trying to get eveyone together to settle the issue what you have is a lot of opinions and no action. The illegal aliens have one focus getting here illegally.

I'm guessing he is referring to the school's stupid response as being funny, not the actual event. When I first read it, I thought the school is implying it didn't happen on their campus, but some other campus, when clearly the photos show it at their school. That is somewhat humorous if that is what the school is claiming. The event itself is incredibly insulting, no question.

A similar thing happened out here at a high school in Arizona (Apache Junction). A white student took down the Mexican flag that was put up in place of the American Flag and burned it. I think he was expelled and nearly was brought up on arson charges. Unbelievable.
