On the subject of the rights of Illegal Aliens a quick story.

:mad: I misplaced my DL and had to go to the MVA to get a new one. It opens at 8:30, so I get there at 8:00 a.m. and jump in line behind 6 or so other citizens. This is early March so its about 20 degrees outside. At 8:15 a van rolls up with about 12 "immigrant workers", and they stand behind me (and another 6 or so citizens). At 8:20 a woman unlocks the door from inside, asks if anyone needs "work authorization identification" or some such BS and let's the "immigrant workers" slide on by us to where it's warm and get their business taken care of.

AND, to add insult to injury, it takes them so long to get their business done, we didn't get inside until 8:45!

I don't need cheap chicken anymore and I can mow my own damn grass!

Quick answer? No one has the testicular fortitude to take a stand. Also it's not Politically expedient. After all think of what that would do to those who employ this labor force. I'ts easy to disobey laws that don't suit us. There are other reasons but I know if you think about it i know you can come to the right conclusion.

What I found funny about that was the general mischevous act itself. Last week I saw 3 cars filled with serbes flying old Yugoslavian flags out the sunroofs. This looked like something similar - to show the others how "we are different".

It's not really a laugh of mock, but a laugh of foolishness towards the acting party (in that case those Mexicans).
